Magic is a universal language that through wonder and laughter can bring people together in a shared cultural experience.
I saw my first magic show at 10 years old. It was a wonderful, spectacular show full of wonders of the likes I had never seen. There were appearing and vanishing ducks. An assistant was suspended on the end of a broom. A table that floated around the stage. I could not believe my eyes. The show in fact was one of the greatest magic shows since the great age of magic in the first part of the century. From that moment I was hooked on magic.
I am now 56 and a Dad with two kids of my own. But I am still lucky enough to be hooked on magic. Many kids never actually get to see a live magic show. That is why I believe it is important to have a public family magic show. It is my goal to share my passion for magic and the performing arts with families here in the Seattle area Our show artfully blends traditional magic with theater, improve and storytelling to create meaningful pieces (more then just magic tricks) to engage the the mind and imagination. But each piece and act is designed to fully entertain and engage the audience. We use lots of audience participation so that everyone is involved in the making the magic happen. Every show is a little bit different and full of surprises. Our show is also available for private and public functions. The show is perfect for fundraising events, school assembly shows, community center events, festivals and parties of all kinds. We can customize the magic show for each audience and event. We have shows geared for adults, families and children. I have performed in just about every situation over the last 35 years from corporate shows at private functions to busy fairs and festivals. Hope to see you at the show. Raymond |
